Jennifer Yruegas is an attorney based in Portland, Oregon. She previously worked for Viewpoint, Inc. and Keen Footwear as General Counsel and Nike, Inc. as Assistant General Counsel focusing on intellectual property issues and providing general legal support to the Nike Affiliates group. Jennifer also served as General Counsel and Sr. Director of Worldwide Legal Affairs & International Trade at InFocus Corporation, a pioneer in digital projection technology, dividing her time between the United States and China. During the last three years of her tenure at InFocus, she served as the CEO of Motif, a multi-million dollar licensing entity of Motorola and InFocus. Jennifer has also counseled several Oregon based startups.
Jennifer holds a double degree in Biology and Literature from Pacific University, a JD from Lewis and Clark Law School, and completed the Executive Program at Portland State University School of Business. She has also served as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Society for Science & the Public. In recognition of her accomplishments and contributions to the Hispanic community, Jennifer was named one of the top 7 attorneys in the country under 40 by the Hispanic National Bar Association and a “Forty Under Forty” winner by the Portland Business Journal.
